These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses the Site or contacts El Monte Concrete through any channel. El Monte Concrete has been providing concrete contracting services in the San Gabriel Valley since 2022.

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

3. Services and Estimates
Submitting a contact or estimate request through this Site does not create a binding contract or guarantee that services will be provided. The following terms apply to service engagements:
- Written estimates only - No verbal estimate, quote, or price discussed over the phone is binding. A binding estimate requires a written document signed by both parties.
- Estimate expiration - Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Material prices and labor costs are subject to change after expiration.
- Scope changes - Any change to the scope of work after a contract is signed must be agreed to in writing by both parties before additional work is performed. We do not add to the scope verbally on the job site.
- Site conditions - Estimates are based on site conditions observable at the time of the estimate. Hidden obstructions, unexpected soil conditions, or underground utilities not visible or disclosed at the time of estimate may require a written change order before work can continue.
- Permits - For projects requiring permits from the City of El Monte or another jurisdiction, permits will be obtained by El Monte Concrete unless otherwise agreed in writing. Permit fees are passed through at cost.
4. Payment Terms
Payment terms are established in the written contract for each job. General terms include:
- A deposit may be required before work begins, as specified in the written contract. California law limits deposits for home improvement projects to 10% of the contract price or $1,000, whichever is less, unless a contractor has obtained a waiver from the CSLB.
- Final payment is due upon completion of the work unless a different payment schedule is agreed to in writing.
- Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract.
- We accept payment by check, cash, and electronic transfer. Accepted payment methods will be specified in the written contract.
5. Warranty and Workmanship
El Monte Concrete stands behind its work. Specific warranty terms are included in each written contract. General warranty provisions include:
- We warrant our labor and workmanship against defects for a period stated in your written contract, typically one year from the date of project completion.
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of nature, improper use, third-party modifications, or events outside our control.
- Hairline cracks that develop due to normal concrete shrinkage during curing are not covered under warranty unless they indicate a workmanship defect as evaluated by a licensed professional.
- Concrete color variation due to weather conditions, water content differences, or natural curing variation is not a defect and is not covered under warranty.
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the warranty period. We will inspect and, where appropriate, repair or replace defective work at no charge.
